چکیده

In this short communication, we introduce a new perspective for numerical solution of fractional initial value problems (FIVPs). Basically, split the considered FIVP into FIVPs on subdomains which can be solved iteratively to obtain approximate whole domain.

A New Iterative Method for Solving Initial Value Problems

In this paper, we introduce a new parameter iteration method (P-Iteration for short) ,which can be applied on Adams-Moulton methods to solve initial value problems. Compared with Jacobi iteration method, it has three advantages: (1) it may significantly implement the stable region of the iterative process such that we can efficiently use the large stable region of implicit formula; (2) it allow...

MODIFIED K-STEP METHOD FOR SOLVING FUZZY INITIAL VALUE PROBLEMS

We are concerned with the development of a K−step method for the numerical solution of fuzzy initial value problems. Convergence and stability of the method are also proved in detail. Moreover, a specific method of order 4 is found. The numerical results show that the proposed fourth order method is efficient for solving fuzzy differential equations.

Reproducing Kernel Methods for Solving Linear Initial-boundary-value Problems

In this paper, a reproducing kernel with polynomial form is used for finding analytical and approximate solutions of a second-order hyperbolic equation with linear initial-boundary conditions. The analytical solution is represented as a series in the reproducing kernel space, and the approximate solution is obtained as an n-term summation. Error estimates are proved to converge to zero in the s...

Exponentially Fitted Error Correction Methods for Solving Initial Value Problems

In this article, we propose exponentially fitted error correction methods(EECM) which originate from the error correction methods recently developed by the authors (see [10, 11] for examples) for solving nonlinear stiff initial value problems. We reduce the computational cost of the error correction method by making a local approximation of exponential type. This exponential local approximation...
